Nope...its all a bit Start-Stop, Start-Stop, Start-Stop for me. Seems like it was almost invented as something to put on telly in order to accomodate Advertising breaks.

Wouldn't say that yet, it's just nice to win some games. A big test at New Orleans coming up, I think Mark Sanchez will need a big day.(although he's doing great for a pro career only three games old) smile

Only highlight reels - big hits, amazing plays. The rest of it bores me rigid.

Quite the opposite for me, biggest hit dvds are on a par with those "crash" race dvds, pointless. Some see this game as the most contrived thing ever but I see it as completely unique sport with so much more to watch than any other sport, there are battles going on all over the field at the same time.
Violent chess. smile

Come on Jets bounce back and squish the fish(yes I know they're mammals).

Have followed the Bears since 1985. Seen 2 live games, a preseason friendly at Wembley between the Browns and Eagles, and a "proper" game at Soldier Field, Bears vs Lions, and the Bears won in OT biggrin

Been living in NYC for 18 months now and never had any prior interest in NFL - have to say that first game of the 2008/9 season had me hooked.

The description "violent chess" is perfect and sums it up nicely.

I think that being in a competitive fantasy football league has helped me get more into it too.

J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets!

Pats fan here.

Yes I know, the most hated team in the game, dont care. I was a fan back when we were nobodies in the 80s. Hands up those who remember the Pats getting "Fridged" ? Exactly. Well we remember those days, so we offer no excuses for any domination in recent years!

Are they still having problems with Gamepass then?

I listen to the Dolphins games via Fieldpass (couldn't afford Gamepass). After all the problems connecting on the first game I was given a free week on Gamepass which was handy as week 2 the Dolphins were the Monday night game, so watched the game via Gamepass the next morning (still not worked out how they managed to to lose after having 45+mins possession). Might have a look at getting Gamepass next season.

The first two weeks were knackered due to "technical difficulties" then week three the Jets game was on Sky(blacked out on gamepass)*, then week four it worked fine, the Jets didn't.

*watched other games on there after though.

Not a great fan of football, but I do have a nephew in law, Jamie Silva who plays for the Indianapolis Colts.

He led the NFL in tackles during the pre-season.
