Well not all of us are into poofball.
So this is the non footballers bar where we talk about rugby, surfing, skiing, triathlons, running and maybe even martial arts. Basically anything active but football...

If it's a non football thread the surely we must exclude, as well as association football, rugby football and presumably american football biggrin

I don't hate it, but it certainly doesn't run my life (like some), and Idon't really have an interest in it at all....apathetic really.

This was in response to the huge number of dull footie threads - a sport we are st at yet spend a fortune on. The top 10 threads here are ALL about the game.

WATCHING sport is not DOING sport. Fine mentioning it every now and again but doesn't wittering on about some bunch of overpaid poofs get a bit dull? How about talking about playing it YOURSELVES rather than what some millionaire retard who cries every time a fly lands on him does on a rectangle of grass?

Greasy student? Errmmm - grade 2 cut company director actually...

Surely if you don't like football then clicking on the threads about football is just a little bit on the retarded side? For instance, I think diesels are the work of satan, but I don't tend to go on oil-burner forums and tell everyone their their choice of fuel sucks?

You might have done well enough in life to become a company director, but there still seem to be a few basics in life you're struggling with....

Mostly yes. The worst thing is the thug fans that think they are hard.
Stick one yob footie fan in front of a decent level rugby player and see how hard he is then. Yet they are always in big gangs. Poofs.

Blimey, you seem to be a very angry person for some reason. Chill out & relax or failing that, change your career because you are clearly hot under the collar about something. biggrin

I've never understood this. There are a few sports that I find brain meltingly tedious, I'll just never understand the appeal of them to anyone.

But I accept that plenty of people do like those sports, so I just ignore any threads about them. I've also managed not to start any threads about how much I dislike those sports. Infact, I've managed to write this post without naming them in an attempt to pick an internet fight with fans of those sports.

Why are the football haters unable to do this?

Because we are iundated non stop by football waffle on the TV, radio and in the papers - even decent ones. To those who dare not to like it, it gets tiresome.

I'm sure plenty don't like the sports I do - fine. I really don't mind or care.

The thread was in response to a sudden explosion of club threads - do we really need a thread for each friggin football club?

And once again, how about sports you actually DO rather than just watch for once?

They hate it so much they can't stop talking about it!

Nice of you to assume I don't play football.

I've had a look at your other posting and you appear to be a fairly sad little troll. So it's probably best just to ignore you. I doubt you'll be here long.
