Golfers - North West/North (Lancashire)

Hello, i'm after the advice of PH Golfers from or around, or with experience of courses in the above area.

Basically i'm playing a two dayer at Garstang this coming weekend, one round sat pm and one Sunday am, but the four ball im traveling with want to have a warm up round in the morning. Time permitting we are only after 9 holes, or a 18 hole par 3 course.

I have googled, and a few have popped up, by neither myself or fellow golfers have any experience of these courses. So far :-

I also know of Haigh Hall, but its too off the beaten track. We are traveling from south Cheshire, does anyone have any experience of the above courses or know of any others that we could try that are more or less 'on route'.
