Not a pretty sight, to be honest.

Not nice at all.

Sounds like the trouble inside the ground has been mainly down to the Hammers supporters.
According to BBC radio anyway.

Can't comment as I wasn't there but it doesn't really surprise me. Stuff like this really lets West Ham down, makes me ashamed some times.

It will have been both, the more unsavory characters in our support don't exactly need egging on though.

What a bunch of idiots. They need to imprison the feckers, for endangering every other supporter there.

A friend of mine told me about a time he travelled down to Millwall several years ago to watch Liverpool play, only to jump back on the train after he saw one of their supporters carrying a javelin around. Madness...

Just listening to Pinocchio Thompson spouting forth about how terrible it all is.
Simple solution - throw them both out of the competition?

Who won the match for "London Pikey 2009"? Should probably wait for a return leg at Millwall before announcing a winner.

I would say both clubs need a big fine and a big ban for this. There is no place for football violence in the 21st century. This kind of thing is fuelled by the likes of Football factory/Green Street where Millwall and West Ham clearly think they still have scores to settle. Hooliganism belongs in the 70's & 80's, not now. Such small minded people to think that wearing a certain football shirt singles you out as the enemy. I hope they catch every one of them and ban the lot for life.

And the first one eyed idiot steps out from the shadows rolleyesclap take a bow.

If the West Ham H&S group, or what ever they call themselves, hadn't aggravated tensions by limiting tickets, thus allowing 800 to a 1,000 ticketless fans turning up prior to the game, the situation would probably have not got so bad.

As it was they let them all in anyway, so what was the point?

Plus, I think you'll find there was very little trouble, other than a few broken seats, from the Millwall away contingent. Also all pitch invasions were down to West Ham fans, but being as cynical as I am through years of miss reporting, I dare say Millwall will carry the can as Premiership sides can't be seen to have problems rolleyes
