Hello!

Looking forward to Penn-Flo and Griffin-Silva.

Anyone else awake?

I have huge faith in Silva but Forrest went down very easily. Anyone thinking he took a dive?

Forrest had a broken jaw and a burst eardrum. That's some dive.

Is there actually a source for that? There are a few posts on sherdog forum but no where else.

His legs were certainly fine, looking at the speed he left the arena.

Trawling the internet I did come across:

"Anderson wants to fight the biggest fights possible at 185 or 205," his manager Ed Soares said afterward."

In the postfight press conference, UFC President Dana White again voiced his disinterest in the bout. Instead, he spoke about the possibility of Silva fighting light-heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida somwhere down the line.

Machida and Silva, however, are very close friends and have said they would never fight each other. But White says if it's a fight fans want to see, he'll make it happen.

"This sport is about who's best," he said. "It's like a football game. If Anderson gets to the point he's taking out 205ers, I'll make that fight. I promise you." Silva shook his head no, but that fight would be well in the future anyway.

I have no idea what makes people think it was a dive. It's a ridiculous thing to suggest.

It wasn't a powerful punch and Forrest has taken far heavier shots previously (Evans and Jackson). He seemed to go down awfully easily and it's now gone from a broken jaw to his coach saying he had a dislocated jaw.

Capitulate too easily, considering his fans bang on about what a great heart he has.

I suggest you start watching another sport because you clearly know little about this one.

Silva - Machida would be one hell of a match up, let's see if either are willing!

You sure?? Forrest had already been hurt and he ran into the punch.

Silva is on another level right now, Griffin is a solid fighter and he just destroyed him. I want to see Silva vs GSP or Silva vs Machida. I don't think that GSP wants to fight Silva though and you can't blame him really considering the size difference.

Agreed I think that there is no way GSP is big enough to fight Silva. Even when Silva is fighting @185 he walsk around 220lbs

GSP would be giving away 30lbs.
On the other hand he has said many times including in Post UFC101 that he will not fight machida (His Friend, his brother)

So not sure where that leaves him.

Rematch with Hendo probably, I can't see Silva losing to anyone except maybe Machida at the moment though.

Many people would disagree with you, including Silva.

It was great to see after his last two fights.

Kenny forgot he is much smaller than GSP and couldn't wear BJ down by pressuring him into the cage. And that RNC set up was lovely.

Amir was stopped far too soon.
