Winter is tough... I was 1 of 600 who got hypothermia.... it's brilliant!!!

No real training advice, get some brilliant gloves and some proper clothing.... without it, you freeze... and I do mean literally. gloves are so important for keeping you on the obstacles... tape them to your wrists...

Good luck, when I´m back in the UK, I´m having another go.... the pain is far worse than a marathon

Ive just done the summer one [See the thread] but ive heard its £100 for them both next year?! I only paid £60 for this one. But yes gloves are essential, weightlifting gloves were mine choice

this looks great,
do the events vary from year to year?
What is the most important part of training?
I'm fairly strong but my stamina could do with some work, any pointers?

Training? Ha

Honestly before i did it, i didnt do much running. could run about 5km pretty solid.

I did find i was alot stronger through the obstacles than my mates due to my upper body.

The longest part of the run was only 3km something like that, alot is split up with obstacles
