GSP, no surprise to me really. Alves is a good striker, and huge but GSP is such an all rounder that he was nullified really. As a cmmentetor sadi, GSP didn't wrestle in high school or Uni but was offered to wrestle at the Olympics!
Lesner really took it to Mir. That position in the first round, almost a half-crucifx on the ground while dropping bombs was great work, and the finishing blows were hardcore. You could see Mir's head snapping back from each one. Brock is so powerful and strong and such an awesome wrestler that you can't be on the bottom for long, not with 20-odd stone lying on top of you.
Good show, I hope that GSP does go up to fight A. Silva, what a great fight that would be. Plus apparently Couture and Fedor want to fight, love to se that too.
