Not quite foolish enough to try this, but have entered the Men's Health Survival of the Fittest in Nottingham on 10th October - hopefully it won't be quite as hard!
Good luck,
Animal
Were looking at entering that, is that the one with swimming and archery and running through the footy ground?!Good luck,
Animal
As i always thought it was just a street run?
Im honestly not looking forward to it, i will let you know how i got on though
How did everyone else get on? Worst bits? Best bits?
For me, anything water based was great fun! The running part was tough as I've done no running since the marathon in April, so struggled, especially with the hazards along the way. Will make sure I'm much fitter for next year!
Gurkha Grand National was tough. Seemed to go on forever. Likewise with the hills! Concrete tunnels were a squeeze for my 18stone frame! Climbing bits were ok. I made sure I was strong for this event, making those bits easier.
Had a friend doing some photos, so will upload them once I get them!
Absolutely fantastic day though!!!
Will be a regular event for me, just not sure about the winter one yet...

What an awesome event that was, we completed it in just over 3 hours, but was held up quite alot, being competitors 4000 odd anyway. I will get some photos up but best bits were the same for me, im a swimmer anyway so can handle anything in the water, but im alot stronger upperbody so flew through all the Gurkha grand national and ended up waiting for my 2 mates [who are runners] for about 10 mins, whilst i spoke to my mrs at the side. For me, anything water based was great fun!
