Is there some sort of "pathetic 
" gene which manifests itself in humans as the need to be a football supporter? Seriously, what is it about the game that makes even fairly intelligent middle and upper class gents act like such pointless little cock suckers?
I get to listen to it in the office all the time - tittering at "scummers" and frequently motioning towards me while they do. Erm, in the same way that I don't support "your" team, I also don't support Southampton as I think football is a game for retards? Oh sorry, I've told you that half a dozen times, but you're too fking thick to understand it, aren't you?
I had a visitor to my house the other day, never been round before. They stood in front of the sofa and asked if it came from DFS, no I said, why? "because I won't sit on a sofa from DFS, they took our grounds away."

agree the whole team rivalry thing is pathetic - when its Saints v Pompey its all "scummers/skates", then for another game its "southerners/northeners", then everytime its a world cup ... "england/rest of the world".
