Ace. I reckon Sapp should lose than the amount he has, but I love it when hulks rumble. So long as they can keep up the pace.
What do you reckon of Lashley?

Lashley is progressing very well. Building up slowly. i think he will be a real HW threat in any orgainsation he ends up in.

I thought it was pretty good. Not sure about the tent, but the rest of it was nice. Some good fights too. Think we may have seen the best of it as the pool of heavyweight talent is small enough generally, let alone in the UK. But I think they're having a featherweight championship too though, which is usually great to watch.

Hopefully they polish off the presentation and it really takes off to boost British MMA.

I wasn't that keen on Bamma, maybe it was becuase it didnt have the Yanky glitz and glam and the over hype, that only the Americans can do...

Getting closer to reality? I hope so, so long as it happens might not even be that fussed who wins...but rooting for Brock.

cage rage shut up shop ages ago.

Fedor vs Brock isnt going to happen until affliction goes tits up. Fedor part owns M1 global who co promote with Affliction and the UFC arent too keen on any kind of cross promotion. They also wont let Fedor compete in his Sambo championships if he signs with the UFC.

The only glimmer of hope is that cro cop signed on a one fight deal and has, eventually, decided to resign with the UFC and not stab them in the back and run off to Dream so the possibilty of a one fight deal is still on.

Randy has stated he wants forst shot at fedor should he sign with the UFC and I have a feeling his contract might actually stipulate that after the legal shennanigans to get Randy back in the UFC in the first place. I have no desire to see that fight anyway, Fedor would destroy Randy in about 10 seconds.

Mir vs kongo at UFC 107 too chaps, that could be good, Kongo has no ground game so Mir might get to snap an arm again biggrin

Affliction 3 has officially cancelled, its on the front page of sherdog.com. Surely thats the end of affliction and fedor has to come to the UFC now?

Shame that. I wanted to see Barnett/Fedor, though it would have been on the net.
Barnett is a silly boy, he has thrown away his US career with his reliance on enhancers.

I would like to see Randy against Fedor. If Fedor dos sign a one fight deal then it is the most likely match we shall see I think.

Wow knew that Barnet had been caught, however is maintaining his innocence!

Can't believe they have cancelled the whole event. This must spell the end for affliction now.

On another note, Bisping is being lined up against Wandi at UFC 105 in Manchester, although has been denied by the Wandi camp.

yup, wandy wants to rest up until february and not fight Bisping in November. Cant blame him, wandy is pretty beat up looking these days, especially after his last few fights.

I cant believe Barnett did this before the Fedor fight, the biggest of his career. I'm sure he was thinking he neds all the help he can get but after the Randy fiasco when he was caught last time you'd think he would have learnt his lesson.

All this talk of Fedor coming to the UFC etc etc will be null and void when he's beaten. And he will be beaten eventually. I hope for his sake that the contract that he hammers out with Dana is good, because when he loses he will be just like everyone else.

Having said that, I cant see anyone in the UFC's heavyweight divison really beating him, disregarding the obvious puncher's chance that anyone that big has. No-one seem's as well rounded. I was watching a program on sambo the other night, Fedor's main love and it is basicallly MMA. nearly all the rules and techniques are the same as opposed to most other martial arts where the fighters have to learn extra skills as well as there first love, eg adding Jiu Jitsu to a karate fighter. No wonder he's so successful.

Affliction are back as a UFC sponsor. I don't think Fedor will go to the UFC for a while. I can see Fedor vs Barnett going down on NYE at the big K-1/Dream card.

I'd love to see Fedor kill Brock but he doesn't feel the need to.
