If Federer and Murray win their games it will be a Murray Federer final. Tehy can't meet until then.

Also got to look at Tommy Haas he won in Germany last week beating Djokovic.

Also hope Laura Robson increases her rankings in this tournament.

Ideally I would like to see Maria Sharapova in the final, well the more coverage we get of her the better.

Oh and the wildcard of the young Simona Halep, never tire at looking at those puppies.

Sad that Rafa is out but I think he's made the right decision if he's not fit (which he clearly isn't). I can't help but think that this knee trouble must be a real concern for him as he's been suffering quite badly with it since last autumn. I know many feel his style of play means his career won't last as long as some of the others but I really hope this isn't a major long-term problem and that he can get over it.

However, with Nadal gone Murray should make it to the final and if he can maintain the form he showed at Queens I think he will; there will obviously be a lot of pressure on him due to the expectation of the home crowd but I reckon he'll handle that!

Assuming no slips-ups you'd expect to see Federer come through from the other half of the draw; a lot of tennis to be played between now and then of course but if that happens it will certainly make for a very interesting final!

I really dislike Murray, he's a horrible little turd. He does have a great record against Federer though. He's won 6 out of 8 against the Swiss and in the last year he's up 4-1. If it comes to a final between them he has a great chance.

And how many times have they ever played on grass?

I don't think Roddick is up to it at the moment. I think Davidenko is better at the moment out of that group.

I am guessing Murray is strong enough to get to final, unless someone pulls something out of the bag that is a bit special.

I hear where you are coming from Mikey but Murray is perfectly at home on grass and he just won at Queens. Fact is he has the wood over Roger at the moment and that will mean a lot psycologically if he gets to the final. He'll also have the crowd, even against Federer. And Federer has to get past Djokovic, which may not be easy.

  • Ladbrokes have Fed at 8/11 and Murray at 7/4 - 12/1 plus bar those. The bookies think it's a 2 horse race then. Djokovic worth a punt at 12-1?

Del Potro looks a better bet at 16/1.

obvious I know but you have to go with Murray v Federer final, Murray looked great at Queens and Federer is always good on the grass

Federer will clinch it, just

Federer said over the weekend he was genuinely upset that Nadal was out, I beleive him too I think he wanted revenge for last year!

WTF is it with women's tennis and grunting? Sharapova and some ugly lass seem to be trying to out-grunt each other.

i wouldnt write him off

massive serve, massive forehand good draw and has done more than either of the other two you mentioned.

i backed him each way at 25-1 which quite frankly is ridiculous value all things considered.

Some good odds with Ladbrookes on Murry just getting to the final at 8/1, Roddick is 40/1 to get to the final he would have to beat Murry though they are in the same half of the draw.
