This week, weekend and into next week.. What's going on.. Have the governing bodies of sports worldwide tried to cram everything in...?

Ascot races
British Grand Prix
Lions Test match
US Open Golf
20/20 Cricket finals
U21 Football Euro's
Athletics Euro team championships
Wimbledon Tennis

Yes! Far too much choice but unfortunately won't get to see hardly any! Got a weekend at the GF's parents lined up irked

Horse racing and cricket AND GOLF do not count. (Lights blue touch paper and steps away from keyboard...)

Yes they do....

If I'm watching them whilst having to pay for a subscription to Sky Bluddy Sports then they are sports...!

C'mon, how can anyone watch and enjoy golf on the TV, whether they've paid for it or not??smash

What about triple jump then? I suppose you think that's a valid sport? Now long jump, I can see the point of that... But triple jump? You'd have fallen down the hole/into the stream etc!

and the point of Tennis is what exactly?
Similar to football, I think i.e. hit the ball in a certain place and score more points than your oppenent. Therefore, I would have to say it's quite a valid sport.

But triple jump is just rules gone too far...

And synchronised swimming as well... WTF??? How can that be considered a sport?

Anyway, back to work nowsmile
