80 million, good profit. Hard to turn down at that price.

Impossible to turn down but also impossible to replace (at the moment) even with that cash...its the beginning of the end!
Impossible to replace as an individual agreed. But £80m would buy 2 world class players as replacements.
Its a great day!!

I hear chelsea bidding 65m for ribery and obviously messi not for sale - I cannot see a world class midfielder to fill the void.
ronaldo highest goal scorer (for a winger too!) past few seasons, we may have to change the way we play and buy an out 7 out striker like benzema instead..
he will not perform like he has in the last two seasons ever again. he is joining a group of galacticos, not a team.
man u got the best out of him, his head has swollen to massive proportions ala Stam, Ince and Van Nistelrooy, once again fergie has got the very best out of a player and sold him at the right time.
top management.

Problems for Man U, Ronaldo coverred up a number of issues for them, but £80m when you are £600m in debt is a no brainer
Scholes, Giggs saldy its the end of the road, like last season they will be occasional players
Nani, Anderson, Park all good PL players, but not good enough against top four or European sides.
So where is he midfield? Hargreaves may never play again, or might be another six months away from a return.

Yep. AF has always based his success on great midfields.Scholes, Giggs saldy its the end of the road, like last season they will be occasional players

He needs to buy the equivalent to Barca's midfield to regain what he once had.

Another £20 m and Man U could buy Newcastle as a feeder club..!
And cue the fat blubbing plumber outside Old Trafford saying Fergies lost the plot, it will never be the same again and then ripping up his season ticket.
And all over Surrey you can heat the sound of Man Ure shirts being torn to shreads.
However that amount of money buys an awful lot of Messi/Eto..

Where do Réal get their money from?
Réal negotiate their own TV deals. Worth £100m+ allegedly.
Shirt sales.
Selling out every game.
[pedant] No accent necessary. It's just Real Madrid.[/pedant]Réal negotiate their own TV deals. Worth £100m+ allegedly.

I thought that all the Spanish clubs negotiate their tv deals. And Barcelona sell out all their games with 18k more capacity
