With father's day approaching I was looking to replace my dads broken electric trolley.
Not having much of a clue about them I was wondering if anyone could recommend me a make/model and if there was any brand to avoid.
Prices seem quite reasonable on ebay but not sure if they are cheap rubbish.

Thanks.

Not sure if i've posted in correct place, if not please move smile

Don't know much about these as I carry my clubs, but my old man has had a Hill Billy for 10 years now and moans about how he wants a new one but, as his current one just won't die he can't justify getting a new one....if that make sense.wobble

So, Hill Billy, 10 years, not broken, fact.

Depending on Use.. All Powered trolleys will wear out at some point..!

If you want history, Build Quality and a tried and tested design - PowaKaddy is the only one to go for.

Others have copied them, reduced the cost etc, but if heavy use is what you're after PK is the best.
PK have a full Spares service as well.

I've had mine for nearly 8 yrs, weekley usage, summer time 2 or 3 rnds a week.

The problem with PowerCaddy is you pay e premium for the name and to be honest they are not worth it. HillBilly are just as good and much cheapersmile

I have quite an old one, the name of which escapes me. but it's thin gaugle box section (just like a pul along trolly) and it hasnt aged well. It's needed to be welded twice as you have to lift and knock the handle to get it to turn (no steering obviously) and it can't take the stresses.

On the other hand my old boys powakaddy seems to be fine, it's lighter, appears stronger, no sign of fatigue and you can click it to freewheel if need be so you can push/drag it if the batts wear out.

If i was to buy one now it'd be a powakaddy for sure.
