Barcelona may be the world’s most perfect city. It’s got warm, sunny weather, tree-lined boulevards that lead to the Mediterranean Sea, amazing beaches, and the mind-blowing architectural eye candy of Antoni Gaudi. Or you could go to ROME and Top it off with the MANCHESTER UTD team and FANS walking around crying their fukin eyes out ... PRICELESS biggrin

calling some football fans scum, pretty much sums up the type of person who posts on PH these days.

PH - used to be frequented by successful, intelligent and some very rich people - now it seems full of kids on here with supped up corsa's and a hatred for too many things..

Is that supped up as in:

Sup up your beer and collect your fags, there's a row going on down near Slough..........

Perhaps you meant souped up. Not difficult to spell, just open a cupboard in your kitchen, bound to be a tin of Heinz in there somewhere. wink

I'm not sure it's really representative of the folk who post here. "Scum" is a term used almost universally (within manchester and Liverpool...) to describe Manchester United.

It's not neccessarily calling them scum, they are just "the scum", like everton are "the toffees"

I'd agree with that. Piss-taking is fine, but this is where class shows through...

If a Mr Joe Average can only retort to calling a rival team scum I'm glad I'm not Mr average.

It's a shame British people cannot support British teams in Europe, or is it jealousy? btw I do not support Manchester United but I am British.

Nothing to do with jealousy at all. I very much doubt man utd fans would want to see other English clubs do anything in Europe much as a large amount of fans were enjoying their loss on wednesday.
