Carrow Road beckons!
Discussion
Yup, affraid so.
Life long Ipswich supporter, and i've been given the opportunity to play an 11-a-side match this Friday, and guess what, i'm playing in the yellow England development kit
So a true blue, playing at Carrow Road in a yellow kit
Anyway.
Best pitch i've ever played on so far is Blundeston recreational field, okay, I lie, I managed a 2 minute substitute appearance in a charity match at Crown Meadow (Lowestoft Town FC) but didn't touch the ball
Can't wait - I may take a st in the showers or something though, as a kind of 'I was ere' type message for the scum.
No idea how i'll get on, especially as it's been years since I played 11-a-side and the fact I ran the marathon less than a week beforehand.
Anyone else played at a big ground?

We won!
Was a good day, made the most of it, had a pint before the match, then a few afterwards to celebrate.
Went 1-0 down (we were shocking to start with) then we started playing well, and score 4 goals worthy of premiership standards - really really good goals, one half volley, one lob, one header and the youngest lad scored a 30 yarder curled into the top right corner!
So 4-1 the final score, had a few scares, score flattered us, as our keeper made some great saves.
To make a note, the pitch was hired for 3 hours (including use of changing rooms) at a cost of £1200.

I'm glad the right team won...Just like when we kicked your ass at Carrow Road back in December Was a good day, made the most of it, had a pint before the match, then a few afterwards to celebrate.
