Why on earth would anyone let that crack-head go on live tv and be a pundit when he can't even string a coherent sentence together?

he did look rough didn't he?

not sure MoTD2 was the right place for him to outpour his 'I've been clean for 4 months' statement

Was working down in Kensington last month and a colleague literally bumped into Gazza in the queue for ciggies in Tesco. He must have had a lot of make-up work for MOTD as the reports from Tesco were of a man virtually half-dead!

As for the not stringing coherent sentences together, isn't that just a Geordie accent? getmecoat

He was on Soccer AM on Saturday morning. I was expecting him to either break down into tears or have a mass swearing rant at any moment.

I missed MOTD but it was on bbc news this morning. He looked slightly more composed on MOTD!

Gazza as a player was one of my heroes for his ability on the pitch. I had a couple of drinks in his company a football match a couple of years ago, and he seemed a decent bloke but was obviously a man with many troubles.
