Right, I know this guy that has been studying sports statistics for numerous years and everyone question i ask him about sports he knows the answer too. So i'm asking that members of PH to come up with some really random sports questions that i'll be able to try to catch him out with?

Thanks in Advance.

Ask him when and where Jim Clark was killed. (Sorry to be morbid out of the gate). I once got asked that by a bloke in a pub in Portugal as I'd asked if there had been a motorsport question in the previous nights quiz.

My girlfriend at the time looked at me a bit weird when I reeled off the year, place and the type of race he was in without even thinking about it... paperbag

Motorsport questions are always good to try and catch sport buffs out as they don't see it as a 'sport' wink
