Football, the next credit default swap market?
Discussion
I'm really worried about football.
I couldn't give a flying fk about Chelsea FC, but I'm so disappointed that Scolari has been sacked after such a short spell at that fked up wannabe football club.
How can such a successful man be treated with so much disrespect so quickly? Does no-one read the history books anymore? Do people completely ignore the time it took greats like Shankly and Ferguson to establish their beliefs and methods on football clubs to make them great? Seven months, for a World Cup winner?
The power in football is now with people who know NOTHING about football. At my beloved Liverpool FC the owners and executive board are a complete joke.
Surely at some point the supporters are just going to say enough is enough, cash is tight and we're just not going to do this anymore? Are we really going to continue to pay for this circus in such hard economic times? I think it's going go implode, it's headed for a crash.

And why would that be a bad thing?Fittster said:

And why would that be a bad thing? You see, another perspective on things and all of a sudden it doesn't seem that bad.
