"Tony Adams’s spell as manager of Portsmouth will come to an abrupt end when he is sacked after just 22 games in charge.
Portsmouth will formally announce on Monday that Adams, 42, has paid the price for taking the FA Cup winners to within a point of the relegation zone following Saturday’s 3-2 defeat by Liverpool
Adams’ record is, statistically, the worst in the club’s history with just four wins out of the 22, and only two wins in 16 Premier League games, a run that has seen Portsmouth drop from eighth – when Redknapp left – to 16th."
As a fan of a fellow struggler I'm sorry to see him go, he looked like he was going to take a relegation spot.
My guess for his replacement, Iain Dowie.
"Avram Grant, former Director of Football at Portsmouth, is the hot favourite at 2/1 with SkyBet. Grant is well known to the Portsmouth board and his record at Chelsea actually looks pretty favourable compared to how they have performed this season. He would be a good choice and the deal would suit all parties so no surprise he is such a strong favourite really, he looks a good bet.
Alan Curbishley has been lined with every single league job that has become available this season and he is the 5/1 second favourite with SkyBet. He seems to be getting overlooked an awful lot but he did save West Ham from a more perilous looking situation so he could be the right choice.
There is a strong Spurs link with the next three names in the betting, ironic as it was Spurs’ acquisition of Harry Redknapp that gave Tony Adams the opportunity at Portsmouth. All on 8/1 with SkyBet are ex Spurs manager Glenn Hoddle, ex Spurs assistant manager Gus Poyet and current Spurs first team coach, Joe Jordan. Joe Jordan left for Spurs with Harry Redknapp so he has a good idea about the Pompey playing staff.
Other names in the mix include Slaven Bilic who is 12/1 with SkyBet and David O’ Leary who is also 12/1. To find out the odds on Roberto Mancini, Didier Deschamps or Gianluca Vialli taking the job and to see who else is being linked with the job visit the SkyBet website, click on Football and the Manager Specials."

Er I think you`ll find Carlos Tevez saved the Irons, Bluebottle is a nice enough guy but once he left the comfort zone at Charlton he got found out. Similar to Allardyce at Bolton when he went Toon.
