Not too excited about this one. Wanted to see the Ravens and the Eagles there. The Ravens were such a great story this year that if the Pats couldn't win it I wanted them to. I think the Steelers will win. The Cards are hot and cold (the Pats absolutely thrashed them 47-7 in week 16) but in Fitzgerald, Boldin, The Edge and Hightower they have formidable offensive weapons if they are all fit and in form. Still think the Steelers will be too strong though. We'll see.

It still rankles that a team that finished 9-7 and who we played off the park in week 16 make it all the way whereas we finished 11-5 and didn't even make the playoffs due to the strength of our division and the weakness of theirs. irked

Yep im a big NFL fan and I'l be going down to Walkabout in Manchester to watch the game. Doubt any other PH'ers will be there but if you are, say Hi, im the tall guy in a Dolphins #99 Taylor jersey.

I'd like to say the Cardinals will win, but I just think the Steelers will edge it. If the Cardinals can exploit the Steelers zonal defence, then they will get points but the Cards problem is that they always seem to pass to the same guy so as long as the Steelers double cover him they can break down their play.

It could well be a high scoring game.

Who would that be?

I might have to stay awake to listen to see if he/she is any good.

Only 55 days to go

Jake Humphrey, the same guy that anchored the Wembley NFL game that they showed live a couple of months ago. Hopefully the Beeb will have Mike Carlsson there doing the match analysis again.

Many thanks for that.

So Jake Humphrey, is he a good commentator?

I have a little bit of work to do tonight, so will be up watching it... always love the superbowl, though think it will be down to Hines Ward being fully fit for the Steelers to win it.

i picked up on one "try" early on

not doing bad apart from that, but not going to make NFL a big game in UK with his personality. Anyone else think the beeb coverage has been a bit lame?
