Since I work for a sports company, I saw this on our feed and all I will say is f*** me!

He came down bloody hard over one of the last jumps. I'm trying to get a replay but our feed doesn't allow it....

My thoughts go out to him and I just hope he makes a full recovery....he was a cracking downhill skier...

Indeed a shame-let's hope he recovers OK. You do see some really hard landings though but fortunately these guys fitness helps.

Mind you I don't think we'll be seeing those skis on fleabay--except perhaps as a souvenir.

The boots look OK though....I'm after some but they don't look like Fischers.....

87mph eek

Is that his goggles at the top of pic?

I just watched the other crash mentioned in that link, that was pretty disturbing the way his spins and then eventually stops!!

Just a shame he didn't spot the goggles of the invisible man doing naked handstands on the piste really.

What's not proper about that? Beats being stuck in an office. He'd be up for €500k if he won the race and at the time he was 2nd. Plus add sponsorship and you're doing bloody well for yourself doing something you love.

Or do you like sitting in an air conditioned office? wink
