List from an article in the TalkSport Online Magazine which lays out the relative debts of several clubs.

-£764M Manchester United
-£736M Chelsea
-£706M Valencia
-£416M Arsenal
-£350M Liverpool
-£183M Fulham
-£142M Deportivo La Coruna
-£84M Middlesborough
-£63.8M Aston Villa
-£59M Everton
-£37M Hearts
-£36M West Ham
-£32M Portsmouth
-£27.8M Sheffield Wednesday
-£27.5M Southampton
-£25M Derby
-£17M Blackburn Rovers
-£11.5M Charlton
-£8M Luton
-£4M Bournemouth

I'm sure it's not really very comprehensive, but interesting nevertheless. Certainly pleased my team's not in there!!

Arsenal aren't too in debt considering they've moved into a brand new stadium. Chelsea's is higher than I though though.

I recall having a conversation with one 'markopolo' along those lines Mick. He ranted and raved about how I'd gone all quiet when Spurs lost or something. It did amuse me because I actually support a team that has NO chance of playing League football against Spurs next season barring a miracle, such is our League position. I do tend to look out for Spurs results, though, for 'family' reasons.....

Assume Southampton's is in the form of a mortgage on St Marys?

If the rumours are true about Abramovich wanting out, then it'll make things interesting at Chelsea with that level of debt.
Somewhat surprised not see Newcastle in that list. I thought Ashley had said everytime he thought he'd cleared the club's debts, another letter from the debt collectors arrived addressed to Mr Shepherd.
