I am puzzled as to why some people tend to find the need to have a go at sports like NFL so vehemently. Yes they wear padding and yes the game stops frequently but thats just the way of the game, as these people would know if they followed it. Personally I can't stand football for reasons I shall keep to myself, as it is a sport watched by many and that is their perogative, as it is mine to watch what I enjoy. American football is not as easy as a lot of people make out, and true sport enthusiasts would appreciate this. There were a few members of the England rugby team who did some training with the NFL and they said it was some of the toughest training they have ever done. So come on, yes have a bit of banter and yes people like different sports and different teams but for goodness sake just enjoy it..... it's only a GAME....!!!!!!!

Tis human nature. I too hate football (soccer) but I don't go on about it. Some of it is in jest but others can be fairly venomous. Hockey is much better than football anyway wink

Go Eagles woohoo

To me, this season they have picked up the pace of NFL. Same with the NHL.

Started watching NFL again this season after not watching it for 5 years as the pace was annoying me, shame Vikings went out to philly

Agreed the pace has increased. I think there has been some positive interest generated too with a game being played over here. I hope it increases in popularity as it real is a good game and worth watching. I like the NHL too and occasionally watch some of the NBA. I love watching the baseball and it's usually on for ages so thats a bonus. So if you follow any US sports who do you follow... mine are easy as I have always been a New York fan no matter what branch of sport it is..

NY Giants...
NY Yankees...
NY Jets....

I think you get the picture smile

NFL - Dolphins (I can own up to that this season, unlike last season). Hopefully get an email shortly to see if I've been lucky in the lottery for the Wembley game again this year.

NHL - No specific team, just enjoy Ice Hockey.

MLB - No specific team, will watch if nothing else on

NBA - Never been into watching basketball.
