Been considering starting up the Ice Hockey again strangely enough.
Not played since a junior (well 15 with one seasons bench in the First Division) though so dont know how that will affect things.
Same here - have bought most of the gear and have started skating on a semi regular basis. I want to be good enough by the last quarter of this year. Not played since a junior (well 15 with one seasons bench in the First Division) though so dont know how that will affect things.
Running, weights and boxing. Have recently started paying for private one-on-one boxing lessons. At 38 I don't intend ever to fight again, but this way I can have fun, improve my speed and reflexes and do controlled sparring with someone who isn't half my age and I know I'm not going to come out of every session battered and bruised - the trainer ramps up as you do, and one-on-one means they can tell you exactly what you are doing right and wrong. Well worth the 20 quid an hour.
Golf and Snooker for me.
Used to play golf every week as a teenager, but the 'old fart' ways of my club put me off for a good few years. Back into reasonably regular play now, but the handicap hasn't improved much!
Snooker is a bit more regular and aagin, same problems! I used to play for the Uni BUSA team, but at the moment it is just for pleasure down the local club although I would like to play for a team again!

Tennis is my love and I'd play every day if I could. I also do some treadmill running, mainly to keep up my fitness for tennis and I very occasionally play golf. Oh and I've recently taken to Wii Fit boarding, which is great fun.
One of my clients is a retired Pro Boxer, his enthusiasm for the sport is infectious, to the point that I'm thinking about giving it a try - albeit as 'boxercise' rather than in the ring!
