Support your mate by going to see him in prison, not acting like a tit on a football field

He's a footballer, the public pay him a huge amount of money to kick a piece of leather around. If he had any brains he would be the exception to the rule. I don't suppose that he's ever considered the parent's of those young lads.
What a tosser.

Remember Luke McCormick? Wiped out most of a family in his Range Rover early one Saturday morning whilst plastered from the previous night and only having 2 hours sleep?

His mate thought it would be clever to make a show of support on the field of play the other day. rolleyes

yes he was out of order, but not more so than the average 20 something year old person!!! People seem to forget that everyone makes mistakes, he has apologised and he has been punished, and punished more so than any joe public in the same situation...

Just because they are footballers it doesn't mean they cannot make mistakes, they are not immune to errors of judgements... But when they do, they are hyped and highlighted and severely reprimanded for it!!!

I agree it was a stupid thing to do, but on the same day that Chris Morgan of Sheffield Utd committed what on the public street would be common assault which left an opponent in a high dependency hospital ward with a fractured skull, I think there may be other football issues to discuss on the front pages of the paper.

No, but because they are footballers with lots of cash and club fixers to do anything for them, they are well out of touch with real life and that of their fans / public at large and many think they are above the law!

The gesture was extremly inappropriate IMO as he said it was a"private gesture" but clearly fogot about the 20000 people there in the stadium and those watchign on TV.

To think such a gesture that was clearly pre planned would not cause grave offence to many, just proves my point about how out of touch with reality these overpaid prima donnas are.

Playing in front of thousands televised to millions, perhaps all footballers should be reminded they are role models to youngsters out there. At 27 years old he's hardly a kid, come to think of it he could have been the father of the two kid's his mate killed, bet he wouldn't have run around making stupid signs then.

Isn't it pure speculation that it was a show of support to his mate?

Norris said it was a private gesture which doesn't help clear matters up though.
