Cannot wait for this match.

From a Wales perspective were facing SA, then Canada, then Oz then NZ - and the summer tour was 2 tests in S.A. and a 6 nations.

This is Wales's toughest year test wise. So far played 7 lost 2.

Total games will be 11 I can see Wales beating Canada so thats played 8 lost 2 but then the Tri nations ... If be over the moon beating just one of these sides.

Wales have beaten RSA once in 99 in the nearly finished Millenium statium, NZ beaten 3 times last in 1956 IIRC and beaten Oz 9 times out of 27 tests. Which is more important? For me I'd say its a tough one between beating the current World champions and NZ due to the fact we beat them so so so long ago.

Cannot wait for it no matter what happens its going to be fun.

Really looking forward to this one, just a bit worried we'll be a too rusty on the day. We're always slow starters.

Team named:
Wales: Lee Byrne (Ospreys); Leigh Halfpenny (Cardiff Blues), Jamie Roberts (Cardiff Blues), Gavin Henson (Ospreys), Shane Williams (Ospreys); Stephen Jones (Scarlets), Gareth Cooper (Gloucester); Gethin Jenkins (Cardiff Blues), Matthew Rees (Scarlets), Adam Jones (Ospreys), Alun Wyn Jones (Ospreys), Ian Evans (Ospreys), Ryan Jones (Ospreys, capt), Martyn Williams (Cardiff Blues), Andy Powell (Cardiff Blues).
Replacements: Richard Hibbard (Ospreys), Duncan Jones (Ospreys), Ian Gough (Ospreys), Dafydd Jones (Scarlets), Dwayne Peel (Sale Sharks), James Hook (Ospreys), Tom Shanklin (Cardiff Blues).

Plenty of talent in that line up, can't complain with starting 15, plenty of strength on bench which is pretty rare for us.

Game still too tight to call, SA will be v.strong after a series of tough games, they will be nicely gelled and up for it.

I'll 2nd that - its rare indeed that we have a strong 15 & depth on the bench.

Saw Halfpenny in a few games recently he's still a kid and of Shane's ilk but he's very good now...

We fronted up in the scrum in the summer & I'd say over the 2 matches had the measure of them in that dept it was their stunning backs & our slight lack of 1st choice players that lost us the games + touring + those last 10 mins they let rip.

14.30k.o. = 11.00 k.o. in the tafarn..

Halfpenny does look pretty good, not the fastest but good eye for a gap. I still think the best attacking back in Wales (apart from Shane) is Stoddart, he should be moved to wing from f/back.

I don't know why, but it feels good to have Henson back. Also think Cooper deserves his spot in the side, he's been good for Glos this season. Here's hoping for a performance!

Just realised I posted up an 11am k.o. beer in the pub... I'll be away in Bulgaria this weekend which means actual K.o. is 16.30.... & £0.20 per pint & moonshine = still starting at 11am.

Is it on BBC2 i.e. sky channel 102?

Any truth in the rumour that Wales are considering this as a response to the haka on the 22nd?
