Head injury to Corluka caused it?

Only just read about in Sky Sports News.

Was it bad?

Think he was KO'd, thought he might have broken his jaw though because the keepers knee socked him right on the chin but I guess not.

Recovering..........

Tottenham Hotspur defender Vedran Corluka has regained consciousness after he was taken to hospital following a head injury suffered in Sunday's 2-1 loss at Stoke City.

Corluka's chin was caught by the knee of team-mate Heurelho Gomes as the goalkeeper attempted to clear a Potters set-piece.

The Croatia international underwent head and neck X-rays and it has been stated that he seemed to suffer no serious injury.

A Tottenham spokesman: "He has regained consciousness and has had head and neck X-rays and everything appears to be okay."

Lengthy medical attention on the pitch followed the incident before Corluka left on a stretcher wearing an oxygen mask and was taken straight into a pitch-side ambulance.

Spurs could have taken it to 201 minutes and still not managed to get 3 points.

Juande they might.

Not only did Corluka get knocked cold by the 'keeper's knee but two minutes earlier there was another big delay after the 'keeper kneed him in the ribs !
