We're playing awful. Nobody's done anything to inspire or simply even stand out. Perhaps with the exception of the 20 year old Kazakhstan lad who scored their goal! It's ridiculous. Up until his goal, Rooney's contributed nothing. Lampard and Gerrard have been rubbish; they simply don't work together as Lampard himself has said in the week. Walcott's given the ball away nearly every time he's touched it. We've been absolute ste. Still no need to boo Ashley Cole though. Ridiculous. Everyone makes mistakes; by their reasoning, should they not boo Walcott for losing the ball as many times as he has? Idiots.

England never really look like they have a clue when playing. Struggling with Kazahkstan, which any half-decent side could beat with their bloody eyes closed.

Capello can't turn overpaid dogst into talented horse manure... or something.

Actually, from 80 minutes onwards, we've looked pretty damn good. Beckham is still the best crosser of the ball in the game.

ETA- Beckham has played absolutely brilliant since he's been on.

scored five tonight, top of the league and won every match we've played in. Still, some people are never pleased.

Old story of England playing to the level of their opponents. If they play a poor team they play poor and struggle, put them up against Brazil or Italy they play to their level or better.

Odd thing but it's always been that way.

We have one of the best teams on paper in the world, and they are probably one of the worst teams out there.

We should be running rings, I saw numerous mistakes, and the scoreline told nothing.

Most of the goals were down to the error of their team, not our skill.

Yawn.

They are st, if you want to be one of those awful people that now thinks we will go on and win it, then carry on. I have seen it all before, and they never produce the goods when it comes down to it.

So the answer is that we all be negative? I'm not saying that we're going to win anything, just saying we ain't playing too bad at present.

Did you not see the first half? Utter st.

Then they start to get tired, make mistakes, give us a goal it all starts going our way, as our players are fitter.

Ignore the scoreline that was given to us mostly by them, I am not normally one to be negative about England, but they fail to impress me at every possible juncture.

I agree that they were god awful in the first half. But still, a win is a win IMO
