Villa fan here

We were a bit of a nothing club for a while, never threatening to win anything, never going to get relegated, never going to beat anyone good, but things have changed now and it's exciting to watch them again.

Lerner and O'Neill seem to be running the club well and i think we've got a good chance of finishing 5/6 this year if our squad don't pick up too many injuries, as it's not the biggest out there.

I thought the last few season's we actually did well considering we had the smallest squad in the league.
And as i still dont think we are going struggle to finish in the top six a cup run would be nice.

who would you want us to go after in the january transfer window?

rumour suggests heskey is on his way (I am still wondering if the heskey on here is really the player)

I think a bit cover for Carew would be good, he's so awkward for defenders although i do think we can overuse the long ball into him sometimes.

Still think we need a midfielder in there to boss it a bit more. I'm not sure about Petrov, can't make my mind up about him.

Be interesting to see Sidwell and where he's going to fit in.

Got to say that i like the look of Isiah Osbourne when i've watched him, i think he's got potential.

Just a quickie for all you Villa fans. I live in Newcastle and fancy going to the Newcastle v Villa game a week on monday. Now ideally I'd like to get hold of two tickets in the away end but will i be able to get any? As a fail safe a friend has offered me his season ticket to sit amongst the toon fans on my tod.

my brother is going so if they are available i'm sure we could arrange something
