"With former Gunners defender Sol Campbell enduring a torrent of racial and homophobic taunts during Portsmouth's clash with Tottenham on Sunday, the issue of terrace control has resurfaced."
As mentioned on the Spurs thread - they were anti-Sol Campbell chants. If he hadn't been a traitorous judas scum bag, he wouldn't have got any abuse "With former Gunners defender Sol Campbell enduring a torrent of racial and homophobic taunts during Portsmouth's clash with Tottenham on Sunday, the issue of terrace control has resurfaced."

Gimme £50k+ a week and you can call me all the racial and homo abuse you like and ill even stay out for longer than 90 mins, hell ill even stand naked and give everyone paintball guns!!!!
Just because someone earns a fair chunk of money and kicks a ball about does not give anyone carte blanche to be on the end of racist and homophobic chants. It is not censorship in the terraces, it is not "RIP Football" it is not anything other than plain common sense and the correct thing to in today's society. The sport that is football has not got a colour or a sexual preference.
Statement from the Spurs Supporters Trust.
"Stories in the media over the past week have persistently claimed that the abuse directed at Sol Campbell by Spurs fans was racist in nature. That is simply not true. Tottenham Hotspur's fan base is renowned for being among the most cosmopolitan and ethnically diverse in the country. It is a matter of pride that racism has never been acceptable to Spurs fans and has always been fought if ever it surfaced.
THST fully understands the outcry against some of the abuse directed at Mr. Campbell. It has crossed the line of acceptability and we would strongly urge Spurs fans to cease the singing of certain songs. There are other, equally effective and perfectly acceptable ways in which they can continue to make their disapproval of Mr. Campbell known and heard.
However, THST categorically rejects accusations that the abuse directed at Mr. Campbell was racist. Rather, it is the media who have collectively misinterpreted one line of one chant, in particular, and have subsequently assumed the presence of racist intent where it simply doesn't exist.
We therefore hope that any further media coverage of this matter will stick to what is true and not to what is imagined. We believe that the worthy work of excellent organisations such as Kick It Out will only ever be done a disservice by indiscriminate and inaccurate accusations of racism."

What out-and-out twaddle - you're clearly not a football supporter - even Arsenal fans on the Spurs thread, who ARE football supporteres, understand the gravitas of the circumstances surrounding his departure from Spurs and how he lied to the fans and his employers in order to line his own pockets - at the clubs expense. This isn't as simple as he "just got a better paid job".
This was a deceit, dishonesty and greed.
He desrves all the (non racist) abuse he gets.
