Starting in 2 days the 37th Ryder Cup held at Valhalla Golf Club.

What are your predictions?

Im very interested to see how poulter will perform, whilst also looking forward to him not dressing up too much like a pansy

I'm really looking forward to it, highlight of the sporting year.

I just wish our captain wasn't such a cock and that he had picked Darren Clarke instead of the other cock Ian "it will be just me and Tiger" Poulter. For all his big talk Poulter has failed to come up with the goods or even to qualify by right for either this or the last RC so he needs to deliver.

I love the Ryder Cup. Highlight of the year for me too. When it's close, it's almost unbearable to watch. There's so many ups and downs and at points it seems as if everyone is just peppering the pin from anywhere.

The last two have been a bit one sided so i'm hoping for a close one but Europe to win.

The format is such a leveller for me. How many times would you have seen Phil Price beat Mickelson at matchplay? I still shout at the tv when i see him knock in that monster against him!!!

I expect extremely partisan US crowds - another brookline in fact.

Pity I'm at work although I might take the opportunity to sneak off early.
I'm watching at work.....

The crowds will definately be vocal as you said.

So why was the opening ceremony so poorly supported.. The seated area was half empty.. The crowd in the background very sparse.

Feet up.. on Sofa.. ready to go for the next 3 days.

We'll see what happens when the competition starts properly, not the formalities.

Right as i have never been into golf and have no clue how the scoring works or why they put socks over there golf rackets... And i wont write the game off just yet!

So i will start watching today well just the highlights as i have better things to do,so

A: Do you win it as a combined score?
B: Is it all on the same pitch?smile
C: How long is on for?

I tried to get into cricket last year and failed.
I think my problem is the long periods of time of nothing actually happening!.
