Who was resposible for choosing that opponent for Khan?

Khan needed to start getting better opponents but fighting someone unbeaten in 19 fights and with 17KO's seems not to have been the best choice.

He wobbled from the first jab that Prescott landed and was lucky to get up from the first knock down.

Glad I watched that via a Hungarian sports channel and not paid Sky.

If he is from Bolton he will have seven fingers on each hand rofl

Im a big ricky hatton fan and he is a bitter blue so football doesnt come into it. Though Hatton should have retired after the Mayweather fight.

The bloke's a legend. He deserves another pop at MW if only for the fact he loves a fight. He knows it's against the odds but he's a City fan so ever the optimist.

Fight him at the M.E.N and if he's losing, Rooney will step in and kill it off.

How mad's that ? Cheering for a fighter that supports City, only to be relieved when a scouser finishes it off. rofl

I've been predicted this for a long time and it's finally happened.

Although I've never been overly fond of him, it is a shame especially when you take into consideration how flawed he is as each fighter he faces from now on will capitalise on this. You can adapt your style to fight different boxers but you can't improve your ability to take a big punch so watch for him being very tentative in coming forwards for all his fights in the immediate future.

The lad has a glass jaw!

Agree, if a boxer can't take a punch, he's got a limited future.

And Jim Watt's quote before the fight:

"It's impossible to see anything other than a Khan win, possibly in the middle of the fight. I just hope he learns things however long the fight is and I wouldn't wouldn't mind one bit if Prescott managed to nail him hard, just so we can see if his chin is good enough to win a world title - because Amir Khan is."
