Hello

All the clubs seem to have already sold out for the decent games, even the corporate stuff.
Any idea where i can get a decent VIP type ticket for a top tier London club... I'm thinking lunch, drinks and match.
It's mainly for the wife as she's never been before.. are there any website or other sellers that can be trusted?

Buy from the clubs directly, they are always offering packages and despite what the media says corporate football is on the decline.

If your really struggling I can put you in touch with some reputable touts who will meet you with the tickets

OP, if your wife has never been to a football match before then get some proper tickets because the atmosphere with the prawn sandwich brigade will be crap compared to in the stands.

For the big clubs it will be hard to get tickets for the big games- at face value anyway. Depending on which club it is, tickets may be obtainable. Places like Everton will almost always have tickets on general sale and also it would seem tickets for the Emirates can be had givem the large capacity.

If you are intent on a lounge type affair then look into the Emirates as they have a lot of them and I noticed a lot of empty seats in that section last week.

All this said, if you really want to go to a big game then get to the ground early and there will always be some touts around. You'll pay over the odds but generally those who are looking to BUY and sell will be genuine. It's a risk but generally ok if you don't mind paying above face value.

Good place to look is ViaGoGo.

Basically, if season ticket holders can't use their seat for any reason they can put the tickets up on there. It's like a legal touting system run on behalf of most of the top clubs, I use it for my chelsea tickets quite often.

If you don't mind a bit of a journey I reckon getting a ticket for a Newcastle match will be very easy in the short term!
