Seems about right, he's been there nearly 9 months.

Don't worry - he'll be back again in a couple of years.

As a Newcastle fan I wouldn't blame him. Ashley's promise of big transfers and a 'wow' signing haven't materialised.

I know they made a loan midfielder signing, but they didn't replace Milner like we thought either!

Wouldn't be suprised if he goes either.

Certainly sounds like Keegan has walked.

Not surprising when he's not got the squad to name a complete 1st team, then the board sells and buys regardless of what he wants. I hope he doesn't leave, despite the thread bare squad there is more potential there than most the players brought in by recent managers.

NUFC.com and SSN reporting he has gone.

Oh dear, poor Kev. Given zero backing in the transfer market, what a fking embarrassment of a club. No wonder Milner got out when he could.

He must really love Newcastle, leaving them just after the deadline. Never could have predicted this happening. Nope. Not at all. Complete surprise.

I think Wise will get it, even though judging from the reports on SSN none of the fans want him there.

Don't think Shearer will go near it considering what's happened to KK.

Never could get my head round the setup there. Wise brought in... to look after transfers. Denis Wise?

Then, no transfers of note are forthcoming, key player sold and not replaced. So, KK walks (not surprising) and DW to take his place??? Hmmm, the motive for DW seems clear here. He'll get a full on frosty reception from the Toon faithful I reckon.

Very shabby business all round.

Ever since they got rid of Bobby Robson I've detested the club.

I would LOVE it, absolutely LOVE it if Keegan went.

See what I did there?

Latest reports are suggesting that Man City have bought Keegan for £25m and will utilise him in the dugout at Eastlands serving lager and crisps to Mark Hughes during the game.

Kind of inevitable really, probably easier for Ashley to sell his shares without Keegan at the helm.

Wonder why nobody tried to sign Barton from them in the transfer window.

ashley is a cock without balls, and a charva at that. keegan is a good manager who makes up for a lack of skill with geet loads of passion.. and a mostly good track record from the last time he was on tyneside.. he doesn't have full control over decisions though and that will force him out IMHO smile

why he's clinging on to barton I have no idea though, barton is a top prize cloaca rolleyes

Both Setanta Sports News and Sky Sports News are carrying it as breaking news that he has been sacked.

Everton did, and failed.

Apparently Keegan nutted Derek Llambias in the 2pm meeting yesterday!
