Group F looks the most competitive.

As a Chelsea fan you probably wont travel to Rome but if you do I can positively recommend you crossing the Ponte D'Aasto bridge just before kick off

As a ManU fan I guess you have a season ticket and travel to all away matches, UK and Europe, right? And you're from Manchester, right?

Yeah, right!!!!

Yeah, right!!!!
All three, have a season ticket, go to all away games even though its almost impossible to get a ticket, which involves begging from friens, snides, jibbing etc and go to nearly all euro away games kiev, rome x2, lyon, barca and Moscow last year.

Already booked up Aalborg via Gothenburg and Villareal via Barca, its called being a proper fan. I presume your another rent boy, its strange how many of you keep popping up lately.

Not random at all, it seems that there are more and more chelsea fans popping up everywhere, whereas chelsea had next to no fans a few years ago, strange how romans stolen roubles can change club loyalty.

Neutral here. Chelsea have always been a well supported club, I remember when, jeez I sound old rolleyes , they would get 50,000 plus in the 70's.

Chelsea Average Attendances

1982 - 13,132
1983 - 12,672
1984 - 21,120

1989 - 15,957

1992 - 18,780
1993 - 18,754
1994 - 19,211
1995 - 21,025

Its only when Roman put his stolen roubles in that the chelsea "fans" came out the woodwork. Mickey mouse club.

I think you'll find most clubs went through a downward spirral in attendances in the late 70's - 80's. But Chelsea, although it pains me to say it, have always had large support to draw on.
Back on Topic, let's hope as many British teams as possible make the later stages.

Considering in 82 & 83 Chelsea were really st & in the 2nd division those attendances were pretty good biggrin . And yes I was there regularly...I also note you end the data at 95, Roman came along in 2003. And I was also in a 55k crowd at one of those 2nd division games. The fan base has always been there & they've always had a good following. Nobodies pretending it's like the Scousers or ManUre but who cares. The club has always been a bit eccentric, but Mickey Mouse pull the other one, best premiership record record against ManUre....doesn't say much for them does it..

Enjoy your prawn sandwich vivadiver.
