Seems like the ABU movement is well back in action, from watching the Sky Coverage I could have sworn it was chelsea that won the champions league last year

Must admit I thought the awards were a bit bizarre, didn't think any of the Chelsea players merited the awards especially Cech who had a distinctly average season by his standards.

What was obvious was the domination of the English based players in the nominations, only Messi had a sniff IMO.

What you have failed to realise is that the Premier league had no bearing on the award, it was CL only. Still Vidic, Carvalho and Puyol are all far better than Terry.
