The Judges are a fecking disgrace. That was clearly a clean head shot and she didn't get a point for it. Otherwise the Chinese wouldn't be up for a gold.

I'm well pissed off. It seems that there are 2 Judges for GB and 2 Judges for CHA, they couldn't make a clean decision (2 on 2) and so the ref (who's probably been paid off) went with China.

You'll probably find the judges are biased towards other nations because they'll be scared of being branded racists by the media It was ever thus.
Im unsure really. I do know a few things about the swimming though.
China somehow managed to claim Gold and silver in the womens 200 Fly an event that has been dominated by the Aussies and Yanks for years.
Ive heard from inside the swimming circuit that The olympics are the only "World" event that the chinese compete in, this means that the drugs testing isnt as rigerous over there as they only compete within the country.
This then gives them the oportunity to potentially take performance enhancing drugs during training seasons and it should then have left the system before the games have arrived.
Obviously this may or not be true its just what ive heard, but it is true that they dont compete in any other world events other than the olympics.
Other than that maybe they are as good as they are making out to be?! I can just imagine all those athletes being whipped into shape to win everything as they are the hosting nation.

Did anyone else notice that the Chinese contender was about to put her arm around her opponent to congratulate her, then noticed that the point hadn't been awarded?
Personally, I wouldn't accept the victory, but then I'm not likely to get locked in a dungeon if I don't.
