I really cant be bothered to get all hyped up to see her choke again. She was on the front page of whichever paper i picked up on the tube today and at the top of the bbc website, and what for? You've got a man running faster than any human has run before, and another looking to make Olympic history with his 8th gold in one games, yet prime column inches are still being dedicated to Radcliffe rolleyes

Miserable bugger aren't you. Why bother posting on the thread if you don't care about it? No-one is forcing you to watch it tonight or read the newspaper articles. Obviously the paper editors think that Paula still sells papers.

Deena Kastor out! That's a big name to drop out. Hope she's ok, looked painful.

It's an incredibly slow pace at the moment. Currently slower than the pace I pace-made at the Zurich marathon for one of our other female marathoners and she finished in 2:37. I expect this race to be 10-15mins quicker than that.

Yeah absolutely. After all, apart from 1 World Championship Marathon Gold, 1 European Championship 10000m Gold, 1 Commonwealth Games 5000m Gold, 3 European Cup 5000m Golds, 3 World half Marathon Championships, 3 World Cross Country Championships, 3 London marathon wins, 2 new York Marathon wins, 1 Chicago marathon win and a couple of Silvers & Bronzes here & there she hasn't won much has she?

I have to wonder what more some of these athletes need to do to get a bit of credit from some people in this country.

I really can't be bothered with her anymore, lost my respect when she stopped for a piss and stopped running during the Athens marathon! It was too hot! Fair enough if you're my size yes, I'd be too hot. We trained in more humid heat for our rugby trip to Japan, games hall doors were locked and our coach turned the heating up, dripping with sweat within minutes! 80% humidity out in Japan, in the area we were playing in.

FFS she had ONE bad race. ONE! Every other marathon she's entered, she has WON.

She shouldn't have been on the start line in Athens, never mind having a go at racing for medals for her country and has paid for that ever since by people deriding her for stopping and dropping out. Get some perspective about her achievements!

She seems moany to me! There are people starving in Africa and Asia, thats more important to the world than Paula Radcliffe!

Doesn't matter how many thing you've won, you can still have people that don't support you! I support her because she is British.
