Lots of reports that a £78m deal is on the cards.

Would be one hell of a signing.

Anyone think it'll actually happen though?

Not me. But who knows what ludicrous amounts of money have the power to do. Ordinarily no-one would leave AC for Chelski but Romans $$$'s disturb the natural balance of the universe so anything is possible.

your going to give poor IM a heart attack

First ronaldo stays at the bigger club, then Adebayor stays in England, now Kaka could be on his way.

Ronaldo: Wants out but Man Utd wont let him leave
Adebayor: They doubled his money to keep him here
Kaka: £78m - need I say more.

Would any of them stay if the money was the same over there? Even Lampard will be on his way next season.

Nice try though...with the "bigger club" bit

hehe

yes

I don't understand why you'd actually want him stay after the things he's said about "his dream is to play for Madrid" I and most Spurs fans can't wait to see the £25m cash and the back of Berbasulk as soon as possible - and he hasn't said anything like "It's my dream to play for Man Utd" - we just know his heart aint in it.

Are you not embarrassed?

ETA That 'Kaka' thing seems to have died down over the 48 hours...press speculation on a slow news day perhaps?

My 2p.

Mixed feelings about Ronaldo playing for United this season. Sure, if he plays like he did last season, I couldn't be sad. But in my heart of hearts, I wish he'd fk off.

He's a soiled asset. But I love United and anyone playing in the shirt gets my support. However, it's tainted.

I agree with you on that..

I feel he could have been one of the true greats over here, but I fear he has fked it all up.

" at least 12 months " fergie has said he will stay much longer. As I have said several times, United have never sold anyone they didnt want to, so all the ABU's will have to endure Ronaldo for a few years to come yet.

A-ha Cheers!

I think defences will 'have his number' this season. They wrapped him up at the Euros. 10-15 goals this season maximum.

Being an 'ABU' or whatever has got sweet fk all to do with the fact that he's absolutely gagging to join Madrid.

And if United let him go he'd be off tomorrow.

£50 charity bet that hew will score 25 or over in all competions? He is a league apart from the dross in the Premiership, with Berbs, Rooney, Tevez, Anderson, Scholes, Nani and the Da Silva twins terrorising teams he will get all the space he needs.

You keep telling yurself that if it makes you feel better

Fact is he is still at United depsite what the ABU press wanted and next year we will equal Liverpools title record.

No skin off my nose pal.

He's a great player, undoubtedly the best in the Prem last year, yes, better than Torres I would say. Amazingly productive off the wing.

But the simple fact is if United gave permission he'd be at the Bernabau right now.

Understandably you're gutted about it given your username, but please, for credibility's sake, if you don't admit that then there has to be something of the child about you.
