Just thought I would start things off. Can't wait for it to start being a sports fan. For me the track and field events plus the rowing are what I will be following the most.

Love watching the Olympics, but I prefer watching all the other sports other than track and field, it's nice to see other sports that don't get much (if any TV coverage) other than at the Olympics.

I can't bloody wait! It's the only sporting event I look forward to, and it only comes round every 4 years. Boxing I don't care too much about, but most of the rest I'll watch avidly.

Englishness is not to be celebrated after all.

It won't be a celebration of Englishness. It'll be a celebration of our ethnic diversity. Therefore, it'll be a cop out and be a slavish nod to every single other country's culture. It'll be the Inclusive Olympics. You know it, I know it.
