Proof, if ever it was needed, that the septics really don't care about footy:

Darren Huckerby, the legend who used to play for Norfolk, and scored the best goal ever, against Manchester. They don't mention his impressive 5 goals in the Championship last season though. rofl

i like the comment response on youtube:

• GK - Peter Schmeichel
• LB - Roberto Carlos
• CB - Lothar Matthaus
• CB - Franz Beckenbauer
• RB - Cafu
• LM - Darren Huckerby
• CM - Zinedine Zidane
• CM - Michel Platini
• RM - Luis Figo
• ST - Pele
• ST - Ronaldo

Not quite a legend, lol.

To be fair to the guy, I think he handled it quite well. The interviewer was cringeworthingly awful, and appeared to know f***-all about anything.

I like the fact the clip they played was of his goal against Birmingham too, instead of Man Utd! To be fair though, if Ronaldo scored a goal like Hucks's against Brum the media would be cumming in their pants and declaring it the greatest ever.

Best player to grace Carrow Road in a long, long time. Always liked to be the big fish in a small pond, hence playing below his level at Norwich. Terrorised the best defences in the Premiership a few seasons ago when we were in the top flight. It's also refreshing to see a player show such loyalty and love for a club, especially in the modern game.

He could have earned a lot more when we signed him permanantly, but loved the club so much from his loan spell that he signed. Throughout his stay he could have moved and trebled his wages, but he didn't. Then, when we outrageously refused to renew his contract, despite him being our best player, he refused offers from about 10 championship clubs, and one premiership club, all for more money than San Jose will pay him, because he didn't want to play against Norwich.

saw him live a few times playing for forest when he was on loan and at times he was amazing, glided past players. Always seemed to do well when he first joined clubs and then faded when he was their longer.

Huckerby, Huckerby, he can tackle he can jump he can run like Forrest Gump!

Decent player when we had him at Leeds, wouldn't mind him where we are now!

Newcastle bought this chap from lincoln and he scored no goals for us.

He is so inconsistent hence why he never really fulfilled his potential.

I would class that as not fulfilling his potential.
