I've jumped on the Spain bandwagon following Euro2008 & Nadal at Wimbledon.
Small bets on Garcia, Cabrera and Jiminez.

It looks a trifle windy out there. Rather them than me hehe

As for who's going to win it? I'd say the weather could play a big part - whoever gets the best of it could come up trumps.

I hope Chris wood does well. I play at the same club as him. stayed on par for the first 2 holes then slipped off the leaderboard. got to be worth a punt for a top 20 at 33/1.....

I will read this again on Sunday

Got a tenner at 30-1 on Justin Rose. Hoping he repeats his win from 10 years ago! I almost wonder if Padraig might retain the Claret Jug though. Would make a good story, and especially after this wrist injury in practice.

Admittedly Garcia was the only one I knew was Spanish. Assumed the other 2 were from their names.

yes. bit cold.
ive just not followed any golf news. where is he? still recovering from the knee surgery?

ok, research done. didnt know he was out for the rest of the year. shame for fans. good for other players. they stand a chance now. not overly impressed that some other players were so quick to 'forget' about tiger.

Was suprised to see a lad called Gary Boyd playing in the open, as i played junior matches against him about 3 years ago!

For some reason i think Duval might come through, but my money is on Allenby

Also where has the offical site gone for the open?! confused my google cant seem to find it although i was on it 20 mins ago at work!

Or a smack on the arse with a tennis racket yikes

Would love to see Him win it although £500 plus the each way bet on Kim would be nice hehe

Agreed - that would have been a lovely bet although Harrington is playing extremely well and given his 'injury', the odds last week would have been rather good.

Wonder if it was all bluff by Harrington and he stuck a couple of grand on himself biggrin

Anyway - Choi looks like a Bond baddie
