England are building a new team looking towards 2011. Against the experienced NZ players, they just weren't good enough. Hopefully there will be a better showing next time.

Sailing is very popular. Comes with being an island and having 2000yrs+ history of doing it.

Sailing, Netball, Softball, Not too bad at basketball either.

And just because...My "great country" was also the first to split the Atom, arguably the first to fly, first country to allow Women to vote..we do alright for such a small population miles away from everywhere

And because this is the sports forum....

It's still bike racing...historic, but still relevant.
