Romania are a good side. Finished top of their Qal group winning 9, drawing 2 and only lost once. Beat Holland in Romania and drew with them away.

If the player is off the pitch behind the touchline then he doesn't count - he was offside.

Just heard on five live that it supposedly is a legitmate goal. Reason being that if you leave the field of your own accord or after contact with your own player apparently you are still deemed 'active'.

It's actually not. Their last 1st match defeat was to Rep of Ireland in the US World Cup of 94 - before that I think it was way back.

I'll admit that it feels like Italy always get off to a poor start though but I think you'll find its just a series of draws with teams they shouldn't draw with or narrow victories over under-dogs.

I stand to be corrected though.
