Bit of a Football type reaction i think and a little dissapointed. The guy hasn't even had a full season and although results and performances on the whole this season have been poor, especially by Tigers standards, he simply hasn't been given enough time and i feel its a knee jerk reaction.

God i hope Cockerill and Back don't get the job. I really don't see anyone out there who's good enough for the job at the moment, unless Jake White is tempted. I know there were rumours of Muir coming in, which could be interesting.

Please please not Eddie O'sullivan

Yeah, the general feeling is that it was done a bit 'football' style, which is disappointing. He didn't even get a full season did he. I think missing pre-season training must be fairly crucial, missing the opportunity to set out his vision for the team?

They did get to the GP final, so I think another season would have only been fair.

Edit to say, the BBC have named White as a front runner for the job.

Pains me to say it, but i think Loffreda has paid the penalty for not having played for the club. There is a massive 'keep it in the family' environment at Tigers and those in power don't like outsiders much. Which then asks the question, why did they appoint him? I know there have been some big differences of opinion at board room level when it comes to ML and some have worked hard to see the back of him. Its a big shame.

Jake White, i think would be a perfect fit for Tigers and our style of play. Dominant, aggresive forward pack, level headed 10 and big strong, quick backs.

He'd deff upset the boardroom though and wouldn't be scared to voice his opinion. Tigers are possibly the only club in the GP who could afford a guy like him though!

It appears that Tigers may also be about to sign Ben Woods for Newcastle as well as Toby Flood.
