Most of the real geniuses, the guys you would queue to watch in training had some kind of self destruct issue.

George Best, Rodney Marsh, Gazza, Frank Worthington, Stan Bowles, Robin Friday, Maradona etc...

Frank was once Manager of my local club "Hinckley United" actually they were Hiinckley Town at the time. I saw Frank play in a friendly against Real Sociedad when John Toshack was in charge. As he left the pitch, he signed my programme and said... yours is the last one sonny, I'm off to get mullered... 1987 I think it was.

A few years later he was manager and there were some stories about him in the town..... Always seemed like a nice fella and said well done to the youngsters at the time
