I'm just off to Twickers for some lunch and beers before the game. Looks like a sell out, weather is cracking at themoment, Florence's last game, Championship decider.

C'MON TIGERS - Back to back Champions today !!!

Have to give huge credit to both these sides who have dominated Eng rugby for so long !!!

What's surprising is that Toulose have not dominated the French league as much as Stade Francais and Biarritz: Toulouse have not won the French League since 2001 !!! Amzing

Leicester had lost that by half time, no doubt. 14 missed tackles in the first half, which is unacceptable at this level. But as usual they put on a brave fight to just about get back into it.

Flutey did well at fly-half considering he can't have played there much this season. Was surprised to see the Wasps forwards get the better of the Tigers, especially in the first half. Shame Dallaglio had his perfect send off though!

Well that brings a close to this domestic season, lets hope next season is just as good, if not better!

Wasps out played and out thought tigers in every area of the game. Wasps throughly professional and Tigers were not.

Well done Wasps

STimmers,
I dont know if you know any of teh Tigers boys but if you do, please send on my best wishes to Hary Ellis. He had a great game and was unlucky to be on the losing side.

He is also a great sport!

In teh West car park after the game, right under the Golden Lion, he was signing autos etc and being greeted by fans. Mty brother and I were standing a few yards away and walked over (me in a Wasps shirt) and asked for a piccy; he agreed and as he moved towards us, we handed him the camera and posed for him to take our piccy! He laughed and said' nice one, didnt see that coming'. Gave the camera back and shook both our hands.

I have completely changed my mind about him and rate him not only on the pitch but off it also.

I know a few of the Tigers boys. The ones i played with as a junior. Very rarely have i met a rugby player and not thought he was a decent guy. The way they play thegame on the pitch is not a fair reflection of their character off it. Scrum Halves are supposed to be annoying gits on the pitch. Its part of their job, but your right, Harry is a top bloke. Calmed down a lot in the past few years. At one stage he was believing his own press and got a bit cocky.
I remember reading how Gareth Thomas was worried about going the Lions tour because he hated Mat Dawson. When they were on tour he couldn't believe what a top bloke he was and now they are very close friends.

In fact Shaun Edwards (in his Wigan rugby league days), Justin Harrison and Wendall Sailor are the only players i ever though were complete tossers off the pitch, the rest are decent guys, even, to my amazement, Campo, who really is a top guy !

Gobby was always a bit of a laugh albeit an annoying one?
Was sitting with Corry ata function and he called Gobby over and suggested I tell him to his face what I thought of him. I hesitated and Darren Garforth piped up (after many beers it must be said) that they all thought exactly the same as me to roars of laughter at Gobby's expense. he took it well but did walk off to somewhere he wasnt getting as hard a time.

Seriously though, if you do get a chance to pass on our congrats etc to Harry, please do - there is even a topic on www.waspies.net mentioning it!
