If i were a Chelsea supporter i think Mark Hughes could be the no nonsense, strong, talented guy that is needed at the club. Can't imagine Hughes taken any crap from the likes of Drogba and could be there for the long term. Which Chelsea seriously need.

Hiddink would be 2nd choice

I'd love to see a management team of Marcello Lippi with Gianfranco Zola as his assistant, with of course Clarkie as coach.

Think Rijkaard is quoted as saying he wants a year out of football. I wouldn't rule the return of the Special One either...

It would funny to see Mourinho return...Sparky is a good call though.

I think Hiddink will take over to be honest.

Lippi and Zola would be a dream management team but can't see it happening.

I want to see these 'big' English clubs hire British Managers. Didn't do Man Utd any harm. Villa, Everton, Porstmouth etc seem to be doing fine.

Supporting an English Club with Foreign manager and mostly foreign players in the team - not that appealing to me.

With his compensation package believed to exceed £5m, Grant's eight-month stint as Chelsea manager will have earned him around £8m.

'Grant's £980,000-a-year contract as director of football was upgraded to £2.8 million last December after he had become first-team coach. Two days of negotiating with Peter Kenyon at Stamford Bridge on Friday and Saturday proved even more lucrative. Grant received a payoff of £5.2 million, which, although that is less than half of what Jose Mourinho was awarded, it still represents riches beyond the wildest imaginings of a man whose most high-profile job before joining Chelsea was managing Israel, where he earned £100,000,' reports The Times.

I still think Rafa may walk and Jose go to Liverpool or even Man City for a real challenge.
