They should have one every Saturday.
I couldn't figure out what the fk was going on until I herd something about the FA Cup on the radio. The traffic in Norwich this afternoon was unbelievable light. Even this evening most of the roads around North Norfolk were almost deserted. Surprising given that Cardiff and Portsmouth are not exactly local to this part of the country.

Coming back from Castle Combe to South Wales this afternoon was very quiet. I think most of us Welsh (apart from me) were watching the match, roads were very quiet considering it was Saturday afternoon.

I think it was a refreshing change to see 2 teams other than the 'big 4' in the final.

Perhaps this is why so many people watched it today. Fair play to Pompey, commiserations to Cardiff

Only recently where its been a big four or six battle have people given up on it.

A great tradition that might be making a comeback. Excellent thumbup

They were all were out on the roads in the morning, spent about 30 mins in a queue going into Norwich on the A11, much heavier traffic tha usual for Sat morning, then I suppose by 2 - 2.30 it was all clear.

I thought this was a typo at first, but given the Norfolk connection I realise now it was a Freudian slip...

The M40 Southbound was empty, it was absolute bliss.

J8-J4 didnt dip under 100 leptons all the way, how motorway travel should be.

When I was a kid in the sixties, early seventies, the country came to a standstill on Cup Final day.

BBC would start it's Cup Final broadcasting at about 9.am. and there would be Cup Final themed programmes throughout the day.

At halftime I would go out onto my street just the hear the sound of almost total silence.

In London!

I'm a Pompey fan and season ticket holder and of course absolutely delighted at the result yesterday - it was a great day out with the right result.
Also, despite all the preconceptions, we met loads of Cardiff fans in the pubs, and got on like a house on fire (er, is that appropriate or not biggrin )

Congratulations to Harry and the team!!!!!

I wish someone would justify the link between Norfolk and Incest.

Apparently in Norfolk you can save a lot of money on weddings and the like. Typically, if you invite 50 relatives it equates to just 20 people!wink

Ah yes, the insurance capital of the UK - created by inbreds.

Have any of you actually been to Norwich? You could do a lot worse I tell ya.
